Members of our Green Schools Committee attended the recent award ceremony in Athlone in the company of their teachers and joined by children from Wolfhill and Stradbally. They returned with our 4th Green Flag and we look forward to arranging a special flag raising ceremony to celebrate all the hard work involved by children, teachers, management, parents and County Council in this project.

Thank you to Dr. Deirdre Butler and St. Patrick’s College Drumcondra who hosted the Robo Show on May 20th. 
Pupils from 5th/6th Class attended and shared their Lego mindstorms project with other learners as well as visitors from Kosovo. We had a very enjoyable day and enjoyed sharing our project and learning from the other students. Thank you very much for the lovely lunch.
Thank you to Laois Education Centre who hosted the FIS Festival in the Odeon Cinema Portlaoise on Tuesday May 27th 2014. Congratulations to all the film makers present. We really enjoyed viewing your films on the big screen.
