Gathering
Well done to St. Joseph’s Club who are hosting a Gathering event this Sunday. Wishing all involved an enjoyable day.

The school community and particularly the children in 1st class and Senior Infants would like to wish Liam Byrne all the best as he represents Ireland this weekend in the World Triathlon Championships in London.

Well done to both boys teams who played so well today. Congratulations. The girls were training hard at lunch time and we wish them well in their game on Thursday.

Thank you to the ladies of the Parent’s Council who organised a coffee morning for the parents of our new Junior Infants class this morning.
As always there were lovely cakes to enjoy and enough to share with the pupils in Senior Infants.
A fresh start
School opens on Wednesday August 28th 2013 for all pupils. We hope that you had a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing everyone at 9:20. We would ask all parents of new Junior Infants not to bring them to the school before 9.30. If they have older brothers or sisters they should come with them at this time. Junior Infants will finish each day at 12 noon (Aug. 28th – Sept. 6th)
We would like to wish our 6th class of 2013 all the best as they begin their journey through secondary school. To all those who have completed secondary school and are now starting out on the next stage of their lives we hope that you enjoy the challenge and remember that you will always find support in your home parish no matter where that journey takes you.

We wish Miss Walsh and Mr Malone every happiness as they marry next week. We hope that they have a very relaxing summer following all their preparations and wish them a very happy future together.
Finally this is the last post on this site for the remainder of the summer. We will add to the information for parents section throughout the holiday, filling in some gaps for new parents. Remember that all booklists are now on the class by class pages. We will re-open on Wednesday, August 28th and will inform you by text when regular posts may be accessed on this blog. We hope that our blog was useful and that you enjoyed staying up to date with the children’s work and activities throughout the year. A big thank you to all the children who so kindly shared their work with us.
