That other drawing!
You will remember that we promised to show you that other drawing submitted by Josh for the blog. The time has arrived to publish it as this very day Junior Infants received a letter from you know who!

Thank you to An Taisce and Laois County Council
The Board of Managment and the Green School Committee would like to thank An Taisce and Laois County Council for their generous sponsorship of the Cycling Safety Courses held in May/June and September/October of this year. Pupils in 5th and 6th have benefitted from this training and we trust that the lessons learned will serve them well as they travel around converting their own never ending energy into mechanical energy.
This initiative is part of our work on the 4th Green Flag Project which addresses the issue of Transport. Next Monday all classes from Junior infants to 6th will engage with the topic of climate change. Following the visit you will find a report on the day on our Green Schools Page.
This beautiful crib
The beautiful crib in our Header this week can be found in the Junior Infant classroom where its presence helps the children as they retell the Christmas story.
Decorations
Pupils throughout the school have created beautiful decorations to brighten the hallway in preparation for the Christmas season. Edition 9 of the ‘Ballyadams Weekly’ will feature many examples of their work along with some seasonal poetry.
A visit to Dublin Zoo
4th Class joined their classmate Sarah on a day out to Dublin Zoo, as they celebrated the inclusion of her art work in this years Agri-Aware Farm Safety Calendar. Children and adults alike had a wonderful time and we would like to thank Dublin Zoo, Agri-Aware, FBD Insurance and the ESB for a lovely day. The children met some of the Ireland’s famous zoo keepers, who were very generous with their time, sharing many of the latest stories from the zoo. Check out the 8th edition of our magazine where we will share many of the wonderful memories of our day.
