Early Spring sunshine
A brief ray of sunshine this morning.
Confirmation Retreat
Pupils from 5th & 6th class will attend their Confirmation Retreat along with the pupils from The Swan and Wolfhill National Schools tomorrow, Wednesday Feb 5th. This is a normal school day and the children may travel to and from school as usual. Pupils in the confirmation classes do not need to wear their uniform, should bring a packed lunch and will not require any pocket money.
We look forward to a thoughtful day in preparation for our Confirmation ceremony.
Greenwave Data
Please go to the Greenwave page attached to our 5th Class page to view up to date data on the Greenwave project. We are working on this project in co-operation with Sacred Heart of Jesus National School, Huntstown, Co. Dublin.

Friends for life
Congratulation to all our pupils in 6th Class who completed their Friends For Life programme this afternoon. We are all very grateful to Ms Purcell from NEPS who facilitated the group sessions. Some of the pupils will highlight a selection of the skills learned on their class page next week. If you are reading this post and are in 5th or 6th class in another school you will find these tips useful.
Greenwave 2014
Welcome to 5th Class Huntstown, Co. Dublin who will share their Greenwave observations with 5th class during the remainder of this term.
SCRATCH
Information for parents: Our senior pupils are working on this programme in school and you might like to download it at home so that they can develop their skills. This is a free download from MIT (Scratch 2.0). You may also be prompted to download Adobe AIR. This is also free. You may discover that you have a talent for programming games so why not spend some time on this software with your child.
