A fresh start

School opens on Wednesday August 28th 2013 for all pupils. We hope that you had a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing everyone at 9:20. We would ask all parents of new Junior Infants not to bring them to the school before 9.30. If they have older brothers or sisters they should come with them at this time. Junior Infants will finish each day at 12 noon (Aug. 28th – Sept. 6th)

We would like to wish our 6th class of 2013 all the best as they begin their journey through secondary school.  To all those who have completed secondary school and are now starting out on the next stage of their lives we hope that you enjoy the challenge and remember that you will always find support in your home parish no matter where that journey takes you.

End of Year Message

Please click on the Board of Management page for an End of Year Message for the school community.

The Parish Newsletter will continue to be updated throughout the summer months so please check in.

We wish Miss Walsh and Mr Malone every happiness as they marry next week. We hope that they have a very relaxing summer following all their preparations and wish them a very happy future together.

Finally this is the last post on this site for the remainder of the summer. We will add to the information for parents section throughout the holiday, filling in some gaps for new parents. Remember that all booklists are now on the class by class pages. We will re-open on Wednesday, August 28th and will inform you by text when regular posts may be accessed on this blog. We hope that our blog was useful and that you enjoyed staying up to date with the children’s work and activities throughout the year. A big thank you to all the children who so kindly shared their work with us.

Graduation mass

We would be grateful if the parents of pupils in 6th class would bring their younger children to Wolfhill for the graduation mass and then down to the school following the ceremony tomorrow. This is to avoid having to pay the cost of two bus runs to Wolfhill. Thank you for your help. Please note that we are not bringing Junior and Senior Infants of 1st Class.

On their way

6th class prepare to head off on their great adventure

A big thank you to Mrs Doogue for the beautiful cake she presented to the children this morning.

As they head off to begin the next stage of their education we thank 6th class for the joy, energy and enthusiasm they brought with them to school each day over the past 8 years. Preparing for the journey

Please join us for the parish graduation mass in Wolfhill Church tomorrow morning at 11am.

Graduation/End of Year Mass

We would like to invite all members of our school community to Wolfhill to celebrate our end of year and graduation mass. This is an important event in the lives of all the 6th class pupils in the parish as they say goodbye to their classmates and school communities and set out on their journey through secondary school. Fr. Dunne, the Boards of Management and staff of all schools would be delighted if you could join us at 11am in Wolfhill on Thursday June 27th 2013.
