Mid Term
The school is closed on Thursday and Friday, Feb 14th & 15th for our mid-term break. Check out the class pages for some examples of Valentine’s Day art work.
My owner was sick today so Happy Valentine’s Day Mammy and I will see you on Monday.
Parent’s Council
The next meeting of the Parent’s Council will take place on Wednesday, February 20th at 8pm.
Policy Review
The Board of Management as part of their ongoing review of all school policy documents is currently reviewing the ‘Code of Behaviour’ and would welcome any input that you as a parent/guardian might like to give. The reviewed policy document is attached to the Board of Management page. Comments can be emailed to principal.ballyadams@gmail.com or may be added to the comment box on the blog. Comments submitted will be for the attention of the board and will not be published.

Catholic School’s Week 2013

Parents
Please check out the Parent’s Council page (Tuesday 29th) for updated information on courses offered to parents in Laois Education Centre. Most of these courses are offered free of charge and offer valuable information to parents across a range of topics.
Catholic School’s Week
On Sunday Jan 27th, the pupils of 2nd class marked the beginning of Catholic School’s Week as they participated in their Candle Ceremony as part of their preparation for their First Holy Communion. The children were joined by their teachers, readers from 6th class and the school and parish choir. We are particularly grateful to all members of the Parish Choir who joined with the children to celebrate the school’s place in the community. We will keep you informed of other activities to mark the week as they happen.
