Well done to 6th class on their great fun day held on Friday. They would like to thank everyone for their support and are delighted to announce that they raised over €650 in aid of St. Vincent de Paul and this has been safely passed on in time for Christmas.

6th Class will present their Heritage Project on Ballyadams Castle in Laois Education Centre on Wednesday, December, 4th. We would like to express our thanks to all those who have assisted them in their research, particularly David and Shirley Butler, present custodians of this important heritage site.

A Book Fair will take place in the school this Monday and Tuesday. Parents are welcome to attend from 2pm to 3.30pm each day.
Thank you for your support. Our school book stock will receive a €600 boost as a result.
A Cake Sale and Raffle will take place in Ballyadams National School Hall on Sunday Dec. 8th following 11o’clock mass in Ballyadams Church. All welcome. Prizes and details on Parent’s Council page.
Our 2014 ‘Heritage’ calendar will be available shortly so make sure not to miss out on this lovely collection of memories from our 2013 school year. As you will be aware this year each class has a special connection to the calendar as they will create a heritage project, published on this blog and linked to a particular month. Be sure to have all the details by ordering your copy now.
A Christmas Cake Sale and Raffle will be held by the Parent’s Council in the school hall on Sunday December 8th.
Tickets for the raffle should be returned to the school by Thursday, December 5th, 2013. Please check the Parent’s Council page for a full list of prizes.
