Titanic efforts
Ms Rowan and the pupils in 2nd and 3rd class built a moving model of the Titanic hitting an iceberg this week. They worked together to create a large conveyor belt using LEGO. We are busy trying to upload video of this momentous event.
Look carefully and you will spot the iceberg lurking in this photo.

eSafety Presentation
Thank you to all those who attended the talk on internet safety on Tuesday night. All present were left in no doubt as to the importance of parental involvement in this area of their children’s lives. If you were unable to attend but would like to source information on this topic, please ask the members of the Parent’s Council for tips or log onto the esafety.ie or webwise.ie websites for information. (We are prohibited from linking directly to websites on this blog. Please insert www in front of the sites mentioned above). We will post information on our own Parent’s Council page during the coming week to assist you as you teach your children important rules concerning safety on the web. Once again thank you to Paul Hickey of eSafety for his informative presentations and to all those who attended and provided the welcome refreshments.
